BGR Logistics is believed to transport thousands of museum collections from the Netherlands to Indonesia

Jakarta, December 27, 2019 - PT Bhanda Ghara Reksa (Persero) or BGR Logistics, which is a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) Logistics in Indonesia, is believed to transport thousands of collections to the National Museum originating from the Dutch Delft Museum.

 

BGR Logistics Managing Director, M. Kuncoro Wibowo, explained that being proud of BGR Logistics is believed to play a role as a transporter to carry thousands of historical collections. The trust was given by the Directorate General of Culture Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) of the Republic of Indonesia.

 

Thousands of these items were brought from the Netherlands since November 16, 2019, and have arrived at the National Museum on December 24, 2019 at the National Museum, Jakarta. The shipping process is carried out using two 40-foot containers. To carry the collection, special treatment is also carried out by regulating the room temperature in containers by 15 degrees Celsius.

 

After thousands of these collections arrived at the National Museum, on Friday (12/27) the items were checked by the Director General of Culture of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Hilmar Farid, accompanied directly by the Director of Business Development and Information Systems BGR Logistics, Tri Wahyundo H, VP Corporate Secretary BGR Logistics, Fuad Adi Siswoyo, and GM Logistics Marketing BGR Logistics, Idhi Heru.

 

In closing, Kuncoro said that BGR Logistics always provides the best service for all customers, whether they are BUMN, private or government. "This work further proves stakeholders' trust in the ability of BGR Logistics as a logistics service SOE in Indonesia," concluded Kuncoro.
